Quintiles, Kadrige Establish E-Solutions Ops in U.S.

Alliance paves way for development of Web-Call centers in North America

Quintiles and Kadrige, a sales solutions company for the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries, have opened the first Kadrige office in the U.S. at Quintiles’ regional headquarters in Parsippany, NJ. Kadrige is building a team of consultants, sales professionals, project managers and IT engineers to market a full range of services for next generation medical call solutions, according to a joint statement.

The two companies signed a co-promotion agreement last year to offer solutions to help biopharma customers transition to a “hybrid” sales model, combining face-to-face physician discussions with live, remote e-detailing calls via the phone and internet. Quintiles and Kadrige are also developing Web-Call centers, which allow sales representatives to train or call on healthcare professionals via the Internet.

“The U.S. office opening is a natural evolution for the Kadrige/Quintiles alliance,” said Hubert Catanese, managing director at Kadrige. “North America is the leading global pharmaceutical market and the NJ, NY and Philadelphia triad hosts the headquarters of many major biopharma companies, some of which are already our customers. We have won several major contracts with leading North American groups who have chosen to rely on Kadrige medical hybrid calls to expand their market share.”

“In the changing world of biopharma that we call the New Health, we are providing the solutions our customers need through innovative technology and more than 10,000 field sales representatives,” said Michael Ackermann, senior vice president of commercialization for Quintiles. “The goal is to set the standard for physician detailing, with a complete solution offering that integrates technology and face-to-face contact.”
